During Tuesday night’s episode of Canada’s Got Talent, Prince Albert’s Rebecca Strong moved the nation with her audition, earning the ‘Golden Buzzer’ and $25,000 from CIBC. Singing Demi Lovato’s ‘Stone Cold’, Strong’s powerful performance captivated the judges. Howie Mandel praised her for not only making Canada proud but also representing her Indigenous culture. With the season’s grand prize at one million dollars, Lilly Singh asked Strong how it might impact her life. Strong expressed her desire to help her parents, especially her father, by enabling his retirement. Singh acknowledged Strong’s purpose to help others like her before pressing the golden buzzer. Overwhelmed with emotion, Strong burst into tears.
