In 2018, singer/songwriter Demi Lovato suffered a near-fatal overdose on drugs and alcohol. She survived, but just barely. Drug abuse, sexual assault combined with the pressure of the spotlight.
This is not the documentary Lovato originally intended to make. What started off as filming for a behind-the-scenes look of her world tour in 2018 up until she overdosed. Is now a documentary about the pain she was struggling to suppress.
