A lot of people have altered their wish lists to be less materialistic to simply be able to share time with each other. There’s definitely a frustration with the mandated regulations in order to keep covid-19 numbers down. I’m torn too, I understand it’s easier said than done to follow the rules whatever they are. I still want to do my part so that we can, I hope, at this time next year gather around each other as we so badly want this year.
Christmas is about celebrating family and togetherness. What an opportunity we have to celebrate our togetherness in a world where we need to be apart. Up until now, it’s easy to travel near or far and gather around loved ones and exchange gifts and laughs. This year we can’t as much as we would like…not in person anyway.
I think this short movie is a good reminder of that true gift that we can share no matter where we are….
