Some say the kids can decorate the tree for one week only. Others say never. Still, others allow the tree to be taken over by homemade decorations. Some opt for having several trees in the house. I grew up in a house where we had only one tree and that tree between three kids was LOADED with home decorations. If we loaded a real tree with decorations like we did that fake tree? It would’ve suffocated.
