The traffic was a bit heavy for a Sunday evening along River Street. But it makes sense why everyone is so interested to see nature in action and how it does not care about the infrastructure that was built around it.
“Finally, something else new and exciting to talk about in our community.”
I watched the incredibly high water flowing through the North Sask River, which is both eerie yet mesmerizing at the same time, from the safety and the comfort inside my vehicle. The image seemed a little familiar to me.

I couldn’t grab a decent photo myself so thanks go out to Martin Ring for letting me share one of his photos that he caught Sunday afternoon. Naturally, I wasn’t alive over 100 years ago so thanks to the Prince Albert Historical Society because I was able to make a pretty interesting comparison.
When I saw the water trying to climb up the Train Bridge as it did Sunday night, it reminded me of this exact moment in 1915. The water level this weekend may not have reached as high as it did over 100 years ago but it looks pretty close.
