There are millions of views on the Cocaine Bear trailer, a new movie hitting theaters this weekend. You know what’s crazy? There’s a true story behind it. Millions of dollars worth of drugs were dropped from a plane over Georgia’s Chattahoochee National Forest in 1985. They were stumbled upon by a bear, who ate them… and died of an overdose. Today, the bear sits at a mall in Kentucky, adorned with a snapback hat and gold chain around its neck with a plaque that reads “Cocaine Bear.”
The movie comes out this Friday and has a pretty interesting cast – Kerri Russell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and even Ray Liotta.
Obviously, this isn’t a family movie. Rated R.
