The gravy train rolled through town in a big way during PA Poutine Week 2025, and Prince Albert locals showed up hungry – not just for fries and cheese curds, but to support a great cause!
With a whopping 1,428 poutines sold across participating restaurants, the event raised $5,712 in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Prince Albert. That’s $4 from every delicious dish going toward mentoring programs that make a real difference in the lives of local youth.
The Big Winner: Venice House on Central
Making their spud-tacular debut in this year’s event, Venice House on Central stole the show with their Potato Skin Poutine – a dish that turned heads and grabbed taste buds on social media. It earned them the coveted Poutine Choice Award along with 10 Galaxy Cinemas passes for their team.
But they didn’t stop there.
Venice House also clinched the Gravy Bowl Championship, topping the leaderboard with 298 poutines sold! For their mouthwatering efforts, they took home 8 passes to Prince Albert Xscapes.
“We had lots of fun challenging ourselves to sell, sell, sell,” said Katie Yannacoulias of Venice House. And judging by the results, challenge accepted – and conquered!

“We want to thank Venice House for their hard work,” said Natasha Thomson, Development Coordinator for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Prince Albert. “But we also want to acknowledge the contribution of every single restaurant who participated in making this event a success.”
One City. One Cause. One Glorious Week of Poutine.
Thank you, Prince Albert, for bringing your appetite and your heart to the table. Until next year – keep the curds squeaky and the gravy hot!
