#PoppyStories is a new initiative that allows people to scan their lapel poppy with their smartphones and learn about a fallen Canadian soldier.
Every year, from the last Friday of October to November 11, Every year, tens of millions of Canadians wear a Poppy to honour Canada’s Veterans and remember those who sacrificed for the freedoms we enjoy today. The Legion gratefully accepts donations to the Poppy Fund.
Poppies can be seen in every corner of this great country in the days leading up to November 11, and Legionnaires volunteer to distribute them through schools, community organizations and local businesses.
