“Percy” which hit select theatres in October of 2020 will be streaming on Apple TV this Friday!
It’s not too often you get to see a name like Christopher Walken linked to a character about a man from Saskatchewan named Percy Schmeiser! Zac Braff is also on the list of actors in a story that gained international attention in the agriculture industry. Of a farmer and the town mayor (at the time) from Bruno Saskatchewan in the late ’90s.
Sadly Percy Schmeiser passed on shortly after the new year at the age of 89 while living in Humboldt.
If you watch the trailer you can tell the movie will be about as interesting as it can be when it comes to a small town farmer up against a big-time corporate company talking about who’s seed belongs to who. But we are talking millions of dollars and a small-town guy fighting for the little farmers all over the world.
