Saskatchewan has over 228,000 km of roads, more than any other province. That’s a lot of “Road” to cover. Poor road conditions are one of the main reasons why the upkeep of our vehicles is so costly. So what exactly is a poor, very poor, or worst road? Statistics Canada says a “poor road” is a road that needs word but no immediate risk to health or safety. “Very Poor” is a road that needs to replaced most with health and safety hazards that present possible risk to public safety.
The Top Ten Worst Roads in Canada for 2021 will be revealed on April 28 so if you feel you use one of the worst highways in the country. Then you can nominate it from now (April 7th) till the 27th of April.
A fun factoid for you. Something new to this year’s campaign is a Google Map Locator that will give a nice visual of where the votes are coming from across the province.
